As we scale, we are looking for a Finance Intern to assist in developing financial projections, pricing strategies, and core financial statements to support ShineQuo’s growth and fundraising efforts.

Role Overview

The Finance Intern will be responsible for building and analyzing ShineQuo’s financial models from scratch, including cash flow projections, income statements, balance sheets, breakeven analysis, and pricing models. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in startup finance, financial modeling, and business strategy who wants hands-on experience in the financial planning of an early-stage company.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Modeling

• Develop financial projections including revenue forecasts, expense tracking, and growth modeling.

• Build and maintain cash flow statements, income statements, and balance sheets.

• Conduct breakeven analysis and unit economics modeling to evaluate ShineQuo’s financial sustainability.

• Work on pricing strategy and profitability analysis for ShineQuo’s B2B and B2C services.

Budgeting & Cost Analysis

• Assist in budget planning and expense tracking to ensure cost efficiency.

• Analyze key financial metrics, cost structures, and potential areas for optimization.

• Support in preparing financial reports and insights for internal decision-making.

Fundraising & Investor Support

• Assist in preparing financial data and reports for investors and fundraising applications.

• Research industry benchmarks and competitor financials to refine ShineQuo’s financial positioning.

• Work with the leadership team to align financial projections with ShineQuo’s long-term growth strategy.

What We’re Looking For

• Current student in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

• Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and startup finance.

• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and financial planning tools.

• Ability to build financial statements from scratch (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).

• Have knowledge about startup and finance research platforms like Bizminer, Crunchbase etc.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to work with numbers, trends, and financial insights.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn about startup financial strategy.
